GETQUERY Loads a query from a file and applies it to the current layer. The saved query file can manually created using a text editor or by the PUTQUERY command. Example MM> GETQUERY filename Prompts If no filename was entered on the command line, a pop-up window will appear asking for the file name. Type the filename, or press the Enter key to display a listing of all of the query files in the directory. Select the query from the list, and click Open. A message that displays the layer that will be queried along with the query string will be shown. The query will also be displayed on the screen. Query for data layer n is SET to: query "Query" is ON If there are any errors in reading or processing the file, warning messages will be displayed and the command will stop. Note This is a MetaMAP and MetaVUE command. |
